Dear participants, welcome to Christiansborg Palace!
You have just received your Mystery Hunt in a black box. It contains everything you need.
DO NOT OPEN THE BOX until everyone has read these important instructions:
⸻
THE GOOD MYSTERY HUNT
Follow the rules and instructions from the palace staff – you are guests of the royal family.
Be considerate toward other guests – especially if you come across a guided tour.
Respect all barriers – statues, displays, and paintings must not be touched.
You have been given a clipboard from the ticket office. Use this as a “desk” during your Mystery Hunt.
The clipboards must be returned to the staff after the event. They are the property of the Palace.
Questions? Call Mystery Makers at +45 30 80 30 50 – not to the Palace staff.
⸻
EVERYTHING YOU NEED IS IN THE BOX
Tote bag for used materials.
Solutions sheet if you get stuck.
⸻
IF YOU ARE MORE THAN ONE GROUP
A group = minimum 4 and maximum 8 participants.
You get black boxes matching the number of groups you booked.
There are two routes at Christiansborg:
• The Queen’s Route
• The King’s Route
Your route is shown on the sticker on the box.
The two routes go in different directions – so one Queen’s Route group and one King’s Route group can start at the same time.
Additional groups start 10 minutes later.
Groups waiting to begin may stay in the Hall of Halberdiers.
⸻
WHEN YOU ARE READY TO BEGIN
Your Mystery Hunt starts either at the foot of the Queen’s Staircase or the foot of the King’s Staircase – depending on which route you have. (See the map at the bottom of the page.)
When you are at your starting point, open the black box.
Begin with the book: “This is your first clue.”
Your Mystery Hunt has now begun…
Thank you for your attention. Mystery Hunt is about being together and working as a team – we suggest putting your phone away during the game.
Enjoy the game!
