Do your students need a fun learning experience that puts their collaboration and problem-solving skills to the test?

The Lab is a game where your students don't have time or inclination to look at their mobile phones. The room hides a wide range of cryptic objects and complicated puzzles. What is today's mission? To escape the room before 60 minutes are up!

How much does it cost?

Mystery Makers wants to support all educators who recognise the value of learning through play. That's why we're offering some great prizes that everyone can get involved in. Contact us here to get a quote.

How many can we be?

You can be up to 36 participants split into four teams of 4-9 participants per room

You can be up to 69 participants spread across multiple teams in all Mystery Rooms at once.

Isn't that too many participants per room? 
No, quite the opposite. Mystery Room is physically bigger than typical escape rooms, and the puzzles are specially designed to Activate all of you at the same time.

How long does it take?

We recommend setting aside 1.5 hours for the whole experience:

  • 15 minutes for arrival and game introduction.
  • 60 minutes of gaming.
  • A 15-minute debrief with the Gamemaster, focusing on your superpowers as a team.
What is the role of the teacher?

You need to book the experience and divide your class into smaller groups depending on what you book. Beyond that, you just need to be the confident guide who takes them to and from the experience. Whether you want to participate in the experience or be an observer is entirely up to you.

Other good things to know
  • Please arrive accurately at your booked time to avoid delays.
  • To take good care of each other, we ask you to be sober throughout the experience. 
  • Everyone can join inand we can easily leave the door open unlocked.
  • The rooms are large and bright, so no one will feel claustrophobic.
  • There are no shock effects or live actors. 
  • The Lab is suitable for wheelchair users.
