Event Coordinator / Game Master (part-time)

Do you want to be the one who turns a great experience into an unforgettable one?

At Mystery Makers, we create some of Denmark’s best-reviewed escape rooms and treasure hunts. Every week, everyone from groups of friends and families to some of the country’s largest companies visit us to be challenged, have a laugh and work together.

We’re now looking for more Event Coordinators/Game Masters who’d like to be at the heart of the experience.

What are you going to be doing?

As the Gamemaster, you are the first person the guests meet and the last person they say goodbye to.

You welcome them, set the scene, guide them through the game and make sure they go home with an experience they’ll want to tell others about.

Some days, everything goes exactly to plan. Other days, you need to think on your feet, keep a cool head and find a solution. That’s part of what makes the job so exciting.

Who are we looking for?

We’re not looking for any one particular type.

We’re looking for people who take responsibility and are keen to become skilled at what they do.

You’ll be a great fit with us if you

  • Take ownership rather than just doing your shifts
  • Can keep a clear overview and instil energy and confidence in front of a group of people
  • You thrive on feedback and are keen to develop
  • Sees the sale of gift vouchers as a natural part of a good guest experience
  • Is a good communicator in both Danish and English
  • I can work around 10 to 15 hours a week, mainly late afternoons, evenings and weekends
  • You don’t need any experience as a Game Master. We’ll train you. In return, we expect you to come prepared, take responsibility and be keen to keep improving.

What do you get?

  • Thorough training as a Game Master.
  • Experience of speaking in front of groups and creating memorable experiences.
  • A student job where you develop your skills every time you’re at work.
  • A workplace with high ambitions, where we help each other to improve.
  • Opportunity to work with businesses, cultural institutions and private guests.

Who are we?

Mystery Makers has been developing experiences since 2010.

We opened Scandinavia’s first escape room in 2014 and have since received several awards, including the Creative Business Cup and AOK’s award for the City’s Best Cultural Experience.

Today, we create experiences for more than 50,000 guests every year and work with, amongst others, some of Denmark’s largest companies and cultural institutions.

We believe that the best experiences happen when people work together, think creatively and have fun along the way.

Does this sound like something for you?

Please send your CV and a short application of no more than 350 words.

We are always recruiting and look forward to hearing from you.
