At Mystery Makers, we take the COVID-19 situation very seriously. Below you can see what actions we have taken and what you should do if you are to visit Mystery Makers in the near future.

What do we do at Mystery Makers?

Will Mystery Makers cancel our Mystery Room booking?

  • We are canceling all Mystery Room events until June 8th, cf. the Government’s latest regulations. We will stay updated as the situation develops.

Will Mystery Makers cancel our Mystery Hunt booking?

  • Our outdoor Mystery Hunt in the King’s Garden and The Citadel will not be available until June 8th. We regularly contact customers with bookings which must be canceled.
  • Our Mystery Hunt games at Kronborg Castle and Christiansborg Castle are influenced by how long the castles are required to keep closed and their internal regulations. So far they are closed from 12/3 until 8/6. If you have a booking at one of these locations within this time period, you will be contacted by our Booking Office so that we can redirect your booking or find another solution as soon as possible.

I am considering rescheduling/canceling my existing booking. What are my options?

  • If there is less than 14 days for the booked event, your booking is subject to our terms and conditions, (
  • We will do what we can to find another day for your event as we are a small entrepreneurial company that is deeply dependent on our future bookings. We are therefore also forced to stand firm on our trading conditions, even in this extraordinary situation. We hope for understanding.
  • In this extraordinary situation, however, we would like to offer all our guests – private as well as business – to “exchange” their existing booking with a voucher/gift card at the full value of your booking. The voucher/gift card can be used for a new booking within the next two years. Note that the voucher cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • It is too late to request a voucher or to move the event on the day the experience is to take place. At that time, employees have already been called in and ready for you. Therefore, please contact us as soon as possible.

You can cancel, reschedule or get a voucher for your booking. Contact us at or 3080 3050 and we will help you as soon as we can. We are experiencing more traffic on both phone and e-mail these days, so we hope for an understanding of longer response times than usual.

What can you do yourself?

  • If you have recently traveled in Corona-affected areas and are therefore quarantined – voluntarily or ordered – we ask you to stay home or avoid coming to try our Mystery Hunt / Mystery Room during the quarantine period.
  • If you feel ill, you should take care of others by staying home until you recover fully.
  • If you are healthy, we would love to give you a good experience once we re-open! We ask all guests to be attentive and considerate regarding hygiene and contact with others.

Protect yourself and others from Coronavirus (COVID-19)!

Here are 5 tips to protect yourself and others from infection:

  • Wash your hands frequently or use hand sanitizer
  • Cough or sneeze in your elbow – not your hands!
  • Avoid handshakes, cheek kisses and hugs – limit physical contact
  • Pay attention to cleaning – both at home and in the workplace
  • If you are elderly or chronically ill – keep your distance and ask others to be considerate
